After spending time in a Japanese internment camp in colonial Indonesia, Paula must adjust to her Frisian family after repatriation in 1946.
Doing visual and historical research into Friesland in the 1940’s, compiling archival photographs, mood pictures and textual information for the director and art department to use when location scouting, designing and finding props.
